ABOUT ME
I am a science and nature lover who is passionate about inclusive education. I received my master's degree in biology from UW-Madison, where I studied native bee conservation (more on that here) and completed a teaching certificate focused on centering social justice in the classroom and supporting diverse learners.
Having finished my graduate school journey, I am returning to my love of working with kids and playing outside. I offer home childcare and tutoring for ages three months to sixth grade. I especially love designing activities that allow children to learn through play, and I have over ten years of experience tailoring my approaches for kids with learning differences such as ADHD and dyslexia.
Whether teaching a biology class, tutoring a middle school student, or leading a nature walk for children, I aim to foster environments where learners can safely explore their curiosity about the world around them, ask little or big questions without judgment, and feel valued for being exactly who they are.
