TUTORING

My teaching experience ranges from public science education to the college classroom, but I most enjoy working one-on-one with K-12 students whose needs are not fully met in school. I strive to help my students build confidence in their learning abilities by tailoring my activities to their interests and styles. Over the past 10 years I have tutored students with ADHD, dyslexia, and autism as well as neurotypical learners. Together, we set learning goals and break intimidating school tasks into activities that meld with their own pacing and personalities.

PAY RATE

I offer 45-60 minute tutoring sessions via zoom ($50/session) or in-person ($60/session). I use this flexible window to give students the option of ending or continuing after the 45 minute mark depending on how they feel and what additional questions they may have.
